Things To Do

Fly Fishing

This is what the area is known for. Fly Fishing. Even if you've never been and have little interest, we highly recommend you book a trip with a guide and get on the river. You'll be hooked. We promise! There are several fly shops in town- all of them are wonderful!

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park is one of the wonders of the West. This must see destination is 78 miles southeast of the property. The views along the way will keep you entertained and mesmerized. And definitely stop at Grizzly Bar & Grill on your way back for a delicious dinner!

Horseback Riding Tours

What better way to see the Wild West than on horseback! Contact our favorite wranglers, Eric & Kate at CB Ranch to set up a ride! We also like local Wolf Pack Outfitting. Ennis is full of the best horsemen (and women)!

Historical Virginia City

In addition to panning for Gold, visiting Cousin's Candy Shop, and touring the old ghost town, we highly recommend Brewery Follies for a good laugh or Virginia City Players for an evening show. Reservations are recommended. Click here for more information on Virginia City.

Lewis & Clark Caverns

Lewis and Clark Caverns are located 34 miles Northwest from the lake. Hike through a mile-long cave to enjoy some of the most unique and amazing views. Click here for more information.

Spa, Shopping, & Entertainment

Stroll down Main Street in Ennis to pick up some souvenirs and memorabilia; our favorite shop is the long-standing Antler Designs! Visit Trenz Salon & Day Spa, Whispering Willow, or Montana Healing Arts for a little relaxing. And the 21 and over crowd should check out Ennis' very own Willies Distillery. G Bar also has some great bands- just check out their calendar!
